Catatan Subpos.
1.- Dalam Bab ini, istilah berikut mempunyai arti :
(a)Aluminium, bukan paduan
Logam mengandung aluminium sekurang-kurangnya 99 % menurut beratnya,asalkan kandungan setiap unsur lainnya menurut beratnya tidak melebihi batas yang ditentukan dalam tabelberikut :

(b)Paduan aluminium
Zat metalik yang aluminiumnya mendominasi menurut beratnya, melebihi masing-masing unsur lainnya, asalkan :
(i) kandungan paling sedikit satu unsur dari unsur lainnya atau besi ditambah silikon, menurut beratnya, secara keseluruhan lebih besar dari batas yang dirinci pada tabel diatas; atau
(ii) total kandungan unsur tersebut, melebihi 1 % menurutberatnya.
2.-Meskipun terdapat ketentuan padaCatatan 9 (c) pada Bagian XV, untuk keperluan subpos 7616.91 istilah “kawat” berlaku hanya untuk produk, dalam gulungan maupun tidak, dari berbagai bentuk penampang silang, yang ukuran penampang silangnya tidak melebihi 6 mm.

Subheading Notes.
1.- In this Chapter the following expressions have the meanings hereby assigned to them :
(a)Aluminium, not alloyed
Metal containing by weight at least 99 % of aluminium, provided that the content by weight of any other element does not exceed the limit specified in the following table :

Aluminiumalloys
Metallic substances in which aluminium predominates by weight over each of the other elements, provided that :
(i) the content by weight of at least one of the other elements or of iron plus silicon taken together is greater than the limit specified in the foregoing table; or
(ii) the total content by weight of such other elements exceeds1 %.
2.-Not with standing the provisions ofNote 9 (c) to Section XV, for the purposes of subheading 7616.91 the term “wire” applies only to products, whether or not in coils, of any cross-sectional shape, of which no cross-sectional dimension exceeds 6 mm.
